Alex Harbolt

I was raised in a small Midwest town of less than 2,000 people with only one blinking stoplight. My experience growing up in a poor rural community has shaped my worldview and allowed me to create stories that are unique and powerful.

The goal of my storytelling is to provoke serious questions and hopefully encourage discourse about the way our society continues to operate. Climate change, income inequality, sexism, racism, drug awareness, existentialism, homophobia - these issues are all massively important and we must face them together.

I am fascinated by human actions and behavior, both good and bad. The interesting thing is not how these things occur, but rather why they occur. I want to create characters and stories that dive deep into the examination of society and culture to better understand the state of living we experience as a collective.

In the future I hope to receive opportunities that will allow me to explore these topics with great detail for large audiences. The world needs unity now more than ever.
